Concept
This course targets company employees, freelancers, university students, and others interested in solving regional issues. It is an experience plan that considers regional problems such as the declining birthrate, aging population, and the shortage of people who carry on local industries. Participants seek solutions to these issues by learning firsthand the ""resource recycling"" lifestyle of the region and the maintenance and
challenges of the communities' ""mutual support social system"" of village life. In light of the rise of new tourism that features traditional farming methods and community/visitor interactions, the course is designed to consider the value and meaning of the new tourism model that enhances visitors' self-transformation while encouraging participation in related industries to vitalize the local community.
